Disneyland Resort announced on August 26 that its highly anticipated annual holiday celebration, “Holidays at the Disneyland Resort,” will run from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will be decked out in holiday decorations, with classic entertainment returning alongside limited-time foods, seasonal merchandise and multicultural celebrations.

During this year’s holiday season, Mickey, Minnie and their friends will greet guests in all-new holiday outfits inspired by winter gatherings in the Alps and holiday travel.

Santa Claus will also have an additional meet-and-greet location. From November 13 through December 24, guests can meet Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park, as well as at the Trolley Barn in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park, where they can take photos and share their Christmas wishes with him.

Classic Christmas Parade, Fireworks and “Snowfall” Return

Several beloved Disneyland holiday traditions will return this year.

Disneyland Park’s “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” will once again feature classic Disney characters, toy soldiers, dancing reindeer, gingerbread characters and other holiday favorites. The nighttime spectacular “Believe…in Holiday Magic” will illuminate the park’s night sky with festive fireworks and magical “snowfall.”

Sleeping Beauty Castle will also transform into “Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle,” adorned with icicles, garlands and other winter decorations. During the nightly “Wintertime Enchantment” lighting ceremony, more than 80,000 lights will illuminate the castle, while romantic “snowfall” will appear in select areas including Main Street, U.S.A.

Classic attractions will also receive holiday overlays, including Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday. Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl will also return to Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park.

“World of Color – Season of Light” Returns to Disney California Adventure

Disney California Adventure Park’s holiday nighttime water spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light” will officially return this year.

The show will combine classic Disney holiday music with memorable scenes from films including Beauty and the Beast and Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out, using large-scale water screens, lighting and music to create a festive atmosphere.

Disney Festival of Holidays Brings Multicultural Celebrations

Beginning November 13, Disney Festival of Holidays will also return to Disney California Adventure Park, showcasing how different cultures and families celebrate the year-end holidays through music, dance and specialty foods.

Live entertainment will include the Holiday Toy Drummers and the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” procession. On select dates, Mirabel and friends from Encanto will present “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” at Paradise Gardens Park, while Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland will join Miguel from Pixar’s Coco on Buena Vista Street to perform bilingual holiday songs.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will also return with live music, specialty foods and Disney characters celebrating Latin American holiday traditions. On select dates, its street party will feature The Three Caballeros, Mexican folklórico dancers, a Mariachi band and Brazilian samba dancers, among others.

Six Festive Food Marketplaces Arrive

Food will also be a major highlight of this year’s holiday season. Disney California Adventure Park will feature six Festive Food Marketplaces offering a variety of new and returning limited-time dishes and beverages, including the popular Braised Pork Belly Adobo.

Guests can also purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes six digital coupons redeemable for eligible food items and nonalcoholic beverages at participating marketplaces and select dining locations.

A wide range of seasonal foods will also be available throughout Disneyland Resort, including the peppermint chocolate cookie Mickey Elf Shake at Schmoozies! and the Merry Cranberry Crispy Chicken Sandwich at Galactic Grill.

Limited-edition holiday souvenirs will include the Mickey Train Light-Up popcorn bucket and Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree beverage vessel.

Three Disney Hotels Join the Holiday Celebration

Holiday festivities will also extend to all three Disneyland Resort hotels. Santa Claus will make appearances at select times at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

The lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also feature a 7-foot-tall gingerbread creation inspired by the hotel’s signature Craftsman architectural style.

Three holiday-themed character dining experiences will also return for a limited time, including “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” at the Disneyland Hotel. At Storytellers Cafe inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, “Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party” will be offered during breakfast and brunch, while “Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast” will be available during dinner. Reservation opening dates will be announced later.

Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also offer limited-time treatments for the holiday season.

Save Up to 20% on Select Dates With Stays of Three Consecutive Nights

Disney also announced a year-end hotel offer. Guests staying at Disneyland Resort hotels for three consecutive nights or longer on eligible dates can save up to 20% on select stays.

The offer applies to select stays from October 11 through December 18, 2026, and bookings will open September 22. Room types and availability are limited, and terms and conditions apply.

Downtown Disney District will also be decorated for Christmas during the holiday season, offering seasonal dining, shopping and live entertainment. The Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage will feature nightly “snowfall,” live bands and DJ performances.

The family-friendly “Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail” will also return. Guests can purchase an activity map, search for hidden holiday decorations throughout Downtown Disney District and redeem their completed map for a keepsake, while supplies last.

Disneyland Resort’s 2026 holiday celebration will run from November 13 through January 6, 2027. Disney reminds guests that admission to the theme parks still requires a valid ticket and a valid theme park reservation for the same park on the same date. Entertainment, dining and event offerings are subject to change or cancellation.
